Tonya McCreary Williams

Ms. McCreary Williams holds an AAS in Legal Assisting Technology from Columbus State, a BA from Capital University, a JD from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, and an MBA from Franklin University. A member of the Ohio State Bar Association, Columbus Bar Association, and the John Mercer Langston Bar Association, she brings a great deal of experience in litigation, corporate law, and family law.

Her legal career spans from working with solo practitioners to international law firms to working as in-house counsel. She returned to private practice in 2020 after serving in corporate counsel roles and managing political campaigns. In 2020, she was elected to the Executive Committee of the Franklin County Democratic Party.

An advocate for legal education and community service, she has taught in Columbus State’s ABA-Approved Paralegal Program, presented CLEs for the OSBA, and volunteered with civic and legal education organizations. In her free time, she enjoys tennis and international travel, having visited destinations from Machu Picchu to the Pyramids of Egypt.
