Joshua Menden joined McCleery Law Firm as a Law Clerk and quickly became a valued part of the team. He brings a genuine curiosity about how the law has shaped—and continues to shape—society. His particular interest lies in the historical divide between early medieval jurisdiction and the authority of the Church, a passion that fuels his thoughtful approach to legal problem-solving today.
Joshua is a recent graduate of The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and plans to sit for the bar exam in February 2026. He earned his undergraduate degree from Bowling Green State University and enjoys the challenge of helping clients navigate complex issues, finding satisfaction in turning intricate legal questions into clear, practical solutions.
Outside the office, Joshua can often be found reading about history or exploring the outdoors through hiking and backpacking.
