Billing Assistant
“Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail”
– Ralph Waldo Emerson

Nikke has lived in Coshocton, OH. for over 20 years and has known the McCleery family from childhood. She and her husband were married by Managing Attorney Greg McCleery’s father. Nikke is a 2003 graduate from Coshocton High School and later attended COTC to pursue a degree in Human Services. Prior to joining the practice, she worked for Family PACT of Coshocton where she supervised visitations between parents and their children. Many of the organization’s families came from the courts and children’s services. Nikke has worked to help families facing legal concerns for many years and is happy to continue her work at McCleery Law Firm.
As billing assistant, Nikke is responsible for keeping all accounts up to date and making sure that clients and attorneys have the funds in place when they need them, in order to achieve the best possible outcome. “I feel like we are very in touch with our clients. They are comfortable coming in, not intimidated to have an attorney try and serve them.” she says. “I mostly make sure our accounts are up to date, keep track of retainer funds, and set up payment plans to help manage accounts. We offer monthly, bi -eekly, weekly, bimonthly, really we work with the clients to see what’s best for them as long as we can keep enough funds to get the work done.”
When not at work, Nikke enjoys spending time with her family, usually attending her children’s many sporting events. She’s an avid reader and also has a soft spot for animals who need someone to love them – a trait that has made her the happy pet mom to many furry friends. Currently she has two dogs, 3 cats, one of which was rescued outside the firm in a rainstorm, and 3 guinea pigs. Nikke and her family like to go to Roscoe Village and get a treat at the candy shop in town. They also love the Apple Butter Festival and weekends playing in Lake Park.
