Nicole Welsh, Esq.

Attorney At Law

“The best way to succeed in life is to act on the advice that we give to others”

– Unknown

As an attorney, Nicole believes her primary responsibility is to offer clients advice on a wide range of issues. Some situations present more complex and convoluted fact patterns than others, but she ensures that the advice given is something she would follow herself. She remains committed to providing truthful guidance, even in challenging situations, on why certain difficult steps are necessary, highlighting the positive impact on their case, life scenario, or the avoidance of more challenging situations in the future.

Nicole focuses on probate estates, estate planning, wills, trusts, deeds, and related documents. She firmly believes that every client has the right to determine how their family is provided for once they are gone. Stressing the significance of Advanced Directives, Nicole underscores their role in allowing medical professionals to communicate with hand-selected agents to make medical determinations in the client’s stead when they are unable to do so. She urges younger families to address the topic of planning documents, emphasizing the importance of securing chosen future plans for their families in the present.

With over 12 years of combined experience representing Cities and Villages in various capacities, including Council Person, Zoning Appeals Board Member, Prosecutor, Assistant Law Director, and Solicitor, Nicole specializes in serving small governments. Growing up in Boardman Township and maintaining residence in Ohio her entire life, she is dedicated to serving Buckeye families.

Raised in a Christian family, Nicole incorporates the Golden Rule into her life – treating others the way she would want to be treated. After passing the bar exam in July 2007, she completed Guardian-ad-Litem training in Summit County Juvenile Court and Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court. Sworn in and licensed to practice law in November 2007, Nicole became a certified Guardian-ad-Litem, representing the best interests of children in four counties for over 7 years.

A mother of two and married for 18 years, Nicole’s spare time is filled with playing, officiating, and coaching volleyball for Ignite Volleyball Club in Reminderville, Ohio. She also volunteers with both Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts of America, emphasizing the principles of being prepared and leaving people and places better than found.

Nicole looks forward to helping clients prepare for a better life for themselves and their families in whatever way they need, with the goal of leaving them better than she found them when they part ways.
